We are building a story-rich, choice-driven, edificatory CRPG.
It’s based on classic roguelike mechanics (turn-based, grid-based, but permadeath is made optional), combat is primarily ranged, like in Jupiter Hell.
We have to spoil the main plot twist just to talk about the setting or even the title. Sorry. SPOILERS ahead.

The working title is “Stepsons of the Universe”, a double translation of Robert Heinlen’s “Orphans of the Sky” title: a generation ship, (far descendants of) whose crew have forgotten who they are and what is the place.
Other influences are: ADoM, Fallout 2/New Vegas, System Shock.
